Ukraine is studying ways of response if ships of the Russian Black Sea fleet, which were deployed near Abkhazia, will return to the place of their deployment in Sevastopol.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Kostyantyn Yeliseyev, deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine and special envoy of the Ukrainian President, claimed this to a press conference in Kyiv today.

“If Russian ships decide to return, we will carry out a dialog with the Russian side about the ways and conditions on which it will take place”, K.Yeliseyev said.

Asked by journalists whether there is a mechanism of non-admission of the Russian ships in the Ukrainian territory, K.Yeliseyev said: “We are working over norms of international law and deciding what to do”.

“We are thoroughly analyzing every comma, every dot, every word in agreements on the Russian Black Sea fleet stay signed with the Russian Federation, in order to see how we can settle the current situation. At the same time we are attentively analyzing the international law, international practice”, K.Yeliseyev said.

According to him, Ukraine will solve this problem with Russia “without emotions, without hysterics, in a normal constructive and civilized way”.

“Our goal is not any confrontation with the Russian side, but a normal, constructive, fruitful dialog, but it must also take into account the interests of the Ukrainian side”, K.Yeliseyev said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine warned Russia on Sunday it could bar Russian navy ships from returning to their base in the Crimea because of their deployment to Georgia`s coast.

Ukraine`s Foreign Ministry said the deployment of a Russian naval squadron to Georgia`s Black sea coast has the potential of drawing Ukraine into the conflict.
