Privatization of OPP to take place on September 29 in spite of decree of President – Tymoshenko

Privatization of Odessa pre-port plant (OPP) OJSC will take place at established terms – on September 29, 2009 – in spite of the Decree of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko on suspending the action of provisions of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which provide the carrying out of the privatization.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko said this to journalists in Zhytomyr.

The Prime Minister said that the privatization of the enterprise takes place not  by decision of the government, but according to the decision of the state property fund of Ukraine.
