“The Prime Minister and her coalition are responsible for voting in parliament”, Victor Yushchenko said.

“I do not accept any accusations from anybody. They had enough will to collect signatures and to make appointments, but lacked will to collect votes for necessary decisions”, the President stressed.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on April 14, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not put on its daily agenda the draft laws necessary for collaboration with the International Monetary Fund.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, in particular, lawmakers refused to consider the following draft laws: “On Introducing Amendments into the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget for the Year 2009”, “On Introducing Amendments into Some Laws of Ukraine Concerning Pensions”, “On Introducing Amendments into the Law of Ukraine “On Compulsory State Pension Insurance”.

The factions of BYuT and the Lytvyn’s Bloc voted for putting these draft laws on the daily agenda, while the OU-PSD faction voted only partly, thus lawmakers missed votes to pass the decision.

The factions of the Party of Regions and Communists did not support putting the draft laws on the daily agenda.
