The factions of Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense Bloc, the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko, and the Lytvyn’s Bloc, have signed an agreement on forming a coalition in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, on behalf of BYuT faction, the agreement was signed by faction head Ivan Kyrylenko, on behalf of OU-PSD – faction deputy head Borys Tarasyuk, and on behalf of Lytvyn`s Bloc faction – its head Ihor Sharov. Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn did not attend the signing ceremony.

I.Kyrylenko informed that the coalition will be called “National Development, Stability, and Order”. He stressed that the coalition agreement includes three key proposals.

In particular, it stipulates that the issue of Ukraine’s joining NATO will be solved on results of an all-Ukrainian referendum.

According to I.Kyrylenko, the Lytvyn’s Bloc put forward a proposal concerning the land market. The agreement stipulates that the land sales will start after the Verkhovna Rada passes the respective legislation.

I.Kyrylenko disclosed that all formal procedures stipulated by the Constitution and the Ukrainian legislation were observed during formation of the coalition. “The main issue at present is the coalition`s work”, I.Kyrylenko noted.
