Yushchenko reinstates Semeniuk as State Property Fund head

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko repeatedly suspended the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolutions of February 6 on personnel shifts in the State Property Fund of Ukraine.

The respective President’s decree of April 25 is posted at the President’s official web site.

With its resolutions of February 6, the government removed State Property Fund of Ukraine leadership, including Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko and her deputies, for the period of an official investigation into their activities.

The President believes these resolutions of the government violate the Constitution of Ukraine.
