“Such visits at the level of international commissions, and, besides, our President will meet with RF President Vladimir Putin, are usually prepared by secretaries of these commissions. And secretaries of these commissions are National Security and Defense Councils’ secretaries”, she specified in an interview with 1+1 television.

Asked about the agenda of the commission, R.Bohatyryova claimed: “It will be a range of questions, which are being prepared by experts and Foreign Ministries chiefs. A preliminary agenda will be ready by the end of week”.

Asked whether the Presidents will discuss issues of language, Holodomor, and UPA, recently savaged by the Russian Federation, R.Bohatyryova said: “I guess, for a successful dialog, we should find and prepare a list of questions, which may be solved urgently to improve the understanding between the two countries”.

As UNIAN reported earlier, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin agreed to meet on 12 February of the current year, and fixed this date for the visit of the Ukrainian President to Russia. In the course of the visit, the second session of the Ukrainian-Russian inter-state commission will be held.

Victor Yushchenko proposed V.Putin to charge Commission secretaries with intensifying their work over drawing up the agenda of the upcoming session.

He proposed to commission the two country’s Foreign Ministries to promptly work out the plan, and to submit it for signing by the two Presidents during the second session of the inter-state Commission.
