Parliament member Yuri Ekhanurov (the OU-PSD faction) asked to announce an interval in the work of the Verkhovna Rada to finally agree of the candidacies for government members. He refused to take part in the voting for electing BYUT leader Yulia Tymoshenko on the post of Prime Minister.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Yu. Ekhanurov said this to journalists today in the VR.

“Unfortunately, it appeared at the session of the OU-PSD faction today that two candidacies of ministers were not agreed. We have not agreed all the issues in the faction, that is why I asked to announce the interval. I can not vote for the candidacy of Yu. Tymoshenko untill all members of the government are not agreed”, said the parliament member.

The OU-PSD representative is confident that before the beginning of the VR session and before considering the issue on appointing the Prime Minister, the faction should agree all the candidacies for the posts of ministers.

At the same time, Yu. Ekhanurov did not specify what exactly candidacies of ministers were not agreed.
