The Prosecutor’s General Office of Ukraine refused to bring a criminal case on the application of ex-Interior Minister of Ukraine Vassyl Tsushko concerning his poisoning.

According to the PGO press-office, V.Tsushko was refused because of the absence of “constituent element of offence”.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on 26 September V.Tsushko claimed that he was poisoned, and that he received the materials, confirming his poisoning as early as on 21 September.

On 30 September V.Tsushko informed about his decision to resign due to bad health. He issued a statement, reading "the poisoning stroke a significant blow" on his health, which does not allow him "to stay on the post of Minister due to ethical reasons".

On 27 September, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Oleksander Medvedko received an application about poisoning from V.Tsushko.
