Baloha: BYuT accepted its defeatComments UkrToday : Early Presidential and Parliamentary joint elections must follow Ukraine`s Constitutional Reform
Baloha should prepare for early Presidential elections and not just pin his hopes on early Parliamentary elections. Ukraine needs to adopt and implement Constitutional reform which will see Ukraine become a full parliamentary democracy in line with European standards prior to any early elections. The clock is tricking and Yulia and the opposition parties MUST act in Ukraine`s best interests. A transition to a parliamentary democracy would see an end to the destructive and divisive personal power struggle that has been initiated by the Office of the President which continues to undermine Ukraine`s stability and democratic development.. Gene : Baloha...I can think of nothing positive to say about him!
I do not know what will happen, but it is very obvious that the problems in Ukraine`s govt now are the result of Yush and Baloha. Almost from the first day they attempted to undermine Yulia rather than work with her, and Ukraine suffers because of their egotist and irrational behavior. It is too bad as they could have accomplished great things for Ukraine. Instead, they pursued a series of very stupid blunders which has increased the popularity of Yanu and PR. My goodness...Ukraine with a leader of the nature of Yanu will turn Ukraine into another Belarus...or worse! |
