UkrToday : Ukraine`s future lies in its ability to adopt a European parlaimnertafy system of governance
Yulia must act in the best interest of Ukraine and not trade off notions of democratic parliamentary reform for teh resignation of the President`s secretary. As long as Yushchenko remains president the destructive power struggle between the Office of the President and the Parliament will continue. The best solution is constitutional reform and the adoption of a full parliamentary system. Power must lie in the hands of the p[people`s democratically elected parliament. "Where the is no counsel the people fall but in the multitude of counsellors their is safety". Ukraine should look to Britain, Canada, Australia Germany or Finland for its political guidance. The sooner Ukraine adopts a parliamentary system the sooner Ukraine can be united under a democratic system.
