Nestor : Yushchenko`s misuse and abuse of presidential authority
Article 106 s 15 of Ukraine`s constitution empower the president to veto the decrees of the government. All too often the office of the president misuse and abuses this power. The question that has not been answered in this article is under what provision of the constitution does the president claim gives him authority to veto the government`s decree? Yushchenko`s record on false dubious decrees and constitutional court challenges is not the best, with many of his decides not withstanding judicial review.
